Gravel Mutts - Full guide - Open Species

Yaaaaaay these puppers have an official guide~! <3333 I hope everyone will enjoy them as much as I did creating them X>

 Species Information 

 Behavior:
Gravel Mutts are an energetic and and excitable species. Contrary to their small legs they are able to run very quickly, they use this best when they sight their favourite person and/or thing.
They have no eyes but flawless scent and hearing, their paw pads also help them feel vibrations, hence the extra toes (they have six toes per paw). These mutts love people and will often place their paw on their person's chest, they find the heartbeat very relaxing and feel the vibrations through their paw pads. They are mostly full of energy but will calm down after a little while.
They can fit perfectly in hoodies and pockets, in fact they prefer to sleep or relaxed in pouch like places.

 Eating Habits:
Likes: Insects, soft berries, melons, grass, flowers, meat, snakes, fish and bones. Gravel Mutts will often chase snakes in groups, as to lesson their chances of being bitten.

Dislikes: Foliage, nuts, seeds, mushrooms, larger fruits and vegetables or harder kinds.
             These things will not harm them, but they will often turn their noses up at them. 

 Burrowing:
Gravel Mutts in wild environments will make themselves a small burrow underground in which they sleep and store food. It is not uncommon for a large number of Gravel Mutts to sleep in the one burrow together or even store all their food in the same spot, though some will build their own secret food stashes away from the main group.

In domestic environments Gravel Mutts are more likely to burrow into bed sheets, couches, pillows and piles of clothing. They will also hide their food and their person’s items in these places. So if you plan on owning a Gravel Mutt yourself check the couch before you sit on it!! You may also want to look into getting them a bell, as you never know where they might be sleeping in their "burrow". Their preferred sleeping places do not change often.

 Appearance:
Gravel Mutts all have a similar build and size. They are quite small, about the size of a very fuzzy Chihuahua  (refer to chibi human above for size reference) .
Tails are always short and fluffy, with no particular recurring shape. Some may be rabbit like, others may be up or downturned, or other shapes.
Paws will ALWAYS have six toes, there is no variation to this unless of injury, or if born stunted.
Coats can be many colours, but most are natural. They do not get many florescent or neon colours.
Ears can turn out to be almost anything, but are never too long, most are short and upright.
Teeth are sharp and jaws are capable of applying great grip and pressure, making them quite dangerous little piranhas.

Claws are retractable and only come out when afraid or when hunting, they do not play fight with their teeth or claws.
When sleeping in large groups gravel mutts may place their paws on each others chests, this is very relaxing and helps them sleep.
